Teck Keong’s area of practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, start-up fundraisings and venture capital investments, joint ventures and general corporate matters.

Teck Keong graduated from Singapore Management University with a Bachelor of Laws degree and is admitted to the Singapore Bar.

• Acted for Sunway Group on its acquisition of MCL Land Group from Hongkong Land Holdings for an aggregate consideration of approximately S$738.7 million. MCL Land Group has ongoing development projects in Singapore as well as its portfolio of income-generating and development assets in Malaysia.
• Acted for Cuscaden Peak Investments on its divestment of its European purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) portfolio to Mapletree Investments for approximately S$1.7 billion. The PBSA portfolio comprises an operating platform, and more than 8,000 beds across 19 key cities in the UK and Germany.
• Acted for JF Technology Berhad, a company listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia, on its acquisition of a majority stake in Q3 Probe, a Singapore company specialising in probe card manufacturing for the semiconductor industry.
• Acted for vendors on the sale of a group of companies operating a chain of preschools in Singapore to a global leader in early childhood education.
• Acted for Accredify, a multi-award winning verifiable technology solutions provider, on its fundraising round co-led by venture capital firms iGlobe Partners and SIG Venture Capital.
• Acted for Hydroleap, a next-generation green wastewater technology company headquartered in Singapore, on its fundraising round led by Japanese Venture Capital firm Real Tech Holdings.
• Acted for GivePlease, a leading payment technology company providing integrated payments and donor management solutions to the non-profit and religious giving sectors, on its fundraising round led by Wavemaker Pacific 5, L.P.
• Acted for V8 Environment, a pioneer waste management company, with its strategic joint venture with Sobono, a proponent of clean and energy solutions.
